Loft is the fusion of natural light and the deep breath of spaciousness and order. It's an elevated viewpoint and space to call your own. It's "loft"ing you into the next level of your home life, as well as the "lofty" aspirations of a professionally curated space. It's natural vistas, the view of rolling hills or breathtaking sunsets captured by your perfectly-placed windows. A place to reflect and scan horizons.

Lane is a nod to our rural roots, our belief that landscape informs design and that living in a home you love is for everybody. It means an upscale and collected space can be at the end of a gravel road. It means rustic touches and natural beams can focalize a brand new build in the heart of the city. Lane means where you come from and where you are going directs our decisions. A place where we feel grounded and a place to create timeless memories.

Hi, I'm Jenna
Design has always been a part of who I am. I was the kid who was always rearranging the living room furniture, organizing my mom's cookbook shelf and sketching floor plans up in my imaginary treehouse “loft” down the back lane on my grandparents' farm.
I often sat in wide open spaces (the top of a bin or bale stack was my favourite because of the unobstructed views) and scanned horizons. Whether a waterline or the rolling country hills, my mind and heart always co-created the perfect angles and positions for a home, based on that specific viewpoint. It felt like learning magic.

My dream has always been to help people love their home and the spaces they get to bring their friends and family into. I love seeing the ongoing story of family thriving in the space we designed together and being even a small part of that story fills me with so much joy.
Growing up in a rural home, I know how much of a burden, chaotic and haphazard design can be on the cadence of a family. Often, it's the mother who feels like she can never keep up with the constant tidying, mounds of laundry, multiple snack and meal times and even her own job. I am deeply passionate about lightening that load through intelligent design that shoulders some of that responsibility.
